Chris Allen
Drummer, Producer, Lead Vocalist
Chris is originally from Mocksville, NC where he began playing drums at age five. While attending Appalachian State University, he performed with such notables as Michael Brecker, Slide Hampton, Herbie Mann, Peter Erskine, and Bill Hanna to name a few.
Chris also worked as house drummer and band director at Paramount's Carowinds Theme Park during the late 80's and early 90's. Chris's contributions on The Kays CD's "Another Day, Another Dollar" and "In the Pocket" show not only his versatility as a drummer, but also his ability to write, arrange, record, and produce incredible compositions.
His electrifying live performances are simply unparalleled.
